Thick Ink is an item used for Chapter 4 and 5 of Bendy and the Ink Machine, and is used to fuel the item-generating device, the Ink Maker.

Description

It is simply a glob of black ink, seemingly pulsing in Henry's hand. The top part is smaller than the bottom.

Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders

Henry must collect Thick Ink from the back of a Swollen Searcher encountered in a room off to the side of the cavern and use it in an Ink Maker to make a gear to fix the bridge for Henry to cross to the other side. This Ink Maker can also create a Radio to unlock the "Finger Waggin" Achievement.

Later on, during the boss fight against Brute Boris, when Brute Boris stops attacking, his bleeding chest cavity will drop thick ink, which can be used in the nearby Ink Maker to make a Gent pipe (or plunger, if the player finds the special disc) which can be used to deal damage to Brute Boris while he's stunned. After it has been used on him once, the weapon will be destroyed and the next phase of the boss fight will commence. Henry will have to get more Thick Ink from Brute Boris in order to get some

Chapter 5: The Last Reel

While riding in the Barge, the paddlewheel can clog up with thick ink. Henry will have to hit the ink with his Gent Pipe to make the barge run again.

At the administration maze, Henry must avoid Piper, Fisher, and Striker while collecting thick ink. Henry must put the thick ink in an Ink Maker to create pipes to drain the Film Vault to continue the objective task and process toward another location.
